of December US Monthly GDP
US MONTHLY GDP DOWN IN NOVEMBER
Durham, NH – January 9th 2009

their first estimate of US monthly GDP went down in December by
6.6 percent.
Following an decrease of 1.9 percent in
November, the real-time monthly GDP, expressed at seasonally
adjusted annual rates in chained 2000 prices, fell 6.6 percent
in December to $11,548.3 billion.

to clients that “with the first estimate of the closing month of
the year, it looks like 2008 experienced 1.3 percent growth as
compared to 2.0 percent growth in 2007.”
