to 107.9. The index was set to an average value of 100 in
2005. |

On an annual
basis, February's early bird for Poland's business
conditions rose by 5.3 percent from February 2006.

The leading
indicator's annualized six-month smoothed rate of change,
which provides early signals of turning points in Poland's
business cycle, registered an increase of 4.8 percent in
February. Consecutive negative values of the growth rate
predict an end to an upward trend in economic activity.
